WELCOME TO ASHKANAM RESORT QUESTIONS ON OUR POLICIES AND FEES PLEASE ASK

~ Check in – 3 PM   Check out – 10 AM (If wanting an early check-In or check-out, please call to confirm. Fees may be applied).

~ All payments for Cabins, Condos, Hotels, Rentals will need to be paid at CHECK-IN. Please settle your account during that time.  If you plan on arriving late, please call ahead to make arrangements for payment.

~ Cabins are a minimum of 3 night rental and hotel rooms are available on a nightly basis. At no time will there be any refunds if a guests choose to leave early for any reason.

~ ALL CABINS ARE NON-SMOKING – $200 CLEANING FEE FOR ANY CABINS THAT HAVE BEEN SMOKED IN

~ Extra Dock slips are $20 per day or $120 per week. Each 5 bedroom cabin includes 2 free boat slips. All other cabins and condos includes 1 free boat slip. Hotel rooms do not include boat slips. Any extra boat slips needed for cabins or for a hotel room will be an extra charge.

~ Please tip your cleaning staff and dock staff. They will go out of their way to please you so please be kind and tip accordingly. If you have any issues with staff, please notify management or office at 218-374-3181.

~ PET POLICY – Pets are allowed! $45/day per pet. $250 per week.
Dogs need to be leashed at all times, always cleaned up after going to the bathroom on resort property. Please keep pets off beds and furniture and never left alone in or out of your accommodations so they don’t bark and disturb other guests. If there is damage from pets scratching, chewing, going to the bathroom inside the cabin we will assess damages, take photos, contact you and you will be responsible for all extra cleaning charges and damages. Credit card damage deposit required ($350 to be collected on Credit card or debit card on file) until damages are assessed. If charges are less then the damage deposit, we will refund the difference. If any dog isn’t intentionally cleaned up after going potty, you will be charged an extra $20 a day. If we get complains on dogs barking from being alone in a cabin for long lengths of time where it disturbs other guests of the resort, we may ask you to remove your pet from the property and no refunds will be granted.
**If housekeeping finds signs of pet hair or a pet being in a cabin without prior consent, the owner will be charged a pet fee for their stay immediately with the Credit or Debit Card on file**

~ Please call Lodge 218-374-3181 if you have any concerns about cleanliness, anything broken, or need assistance with anything. We do not know if there is something that needs assistance if we are not aware. We will do anything to make your stay as great as possible in your cabins/hotels.
~ Rates quoted are subject to MN sales tax, 3.5% state lodging tax & 3% resort surcharge. (Rates or any prices could change at anytime)

50% deposit on your total reservations is required at time of booking. (Credit Card payment may be required over phone and will be needed on your file to secure your reservation) DEPOSITS and cancellation policies – Spring, summer and fall Deposits are strictly Non-refundable, but can be transferred as a credit towards future reservations if you rebook within the same calendar year unless we have weather related conditions that delays fishing opener if there is too much ice on the river to get to the main lake, flooding that makes the lakes unsafe to boat as well as the park not being able to put buoys out. Winter season: If a customer pays a deposit to come during snowmobile season and cancels for personal reasons, the deposit is none refundable but can be used as a credit that same winter. If customers come up snowmobiling and has to cancel due to severe weather related conditions out of our control (no snow on snowmobile trails or on ice which make conditions unsafe) we will refund your deposit only after the weekend you had reserved. If we get snow accumulations that makes it safe to snowmobile on Ice and trails, up until your reservation date your deposit will be none-refundable due to having safe snow conditions even if you want to cancel. Once the date of your reservation comes and we have certainty there is no safe riding conditions, your deposit will be refunded. We reserve the right to have up to 30 days to refund your deposit after your scheduled reservation dates if reservations are cancelled due to unsafe/no snow conditions. Any reservations made to come up ice fishing will be non refundable deposits unless there are unsafe ice conditions: too thin of ice to walk on, too much water on ice, too cold which makes it deathly unsafe (-25 below or colder) weather, snow conditions do not apply to ice fishing policies. We reserve the right to make refund decisions based on our skills, experience and business. NOTE: We will never put any customers life at risk when it comes to being on water or ice. We make cancellation decisions solely on reports we receive and from going out and checking ice and water conditions in person to make determinations.
-if you cancel for personal reasons, you will be subjected to a 20% cancellation fee on all cabins/hotels/rentals
unless it is due to severe weather related conditions. if we refund you money back on a Credit or Debit Card, your deposit payment amount, less a 3% surcharge, will be applied back to your Credit/Debit card
within 30 days after your scheduled reservation.

~ We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Cash & personal checks (Any NSF checks will incur a $30 dollar fee) If a check bounces that is used towards any deposit or reservation, then we reserve the right to run your deposit or charge on the Credit or Debit card you list on file as back up payment.

**THERE IS A 3% SURCHARGE FOR ALL NON-CASH PAYMENTS (ANY CREDIT or DEBIT CARD)**

Any guests staying on AshKaNam Resorts property is fully aware of the risks and possible dangers associated with boating, summer/ice fishing, swimming, snowmobiling, drinking alcoholic beverages, climbing stairs in summer or winter, dancing, walking on unlevel ground; with ice or snow, driving, parking next to other vehicles, not locking personal items up, among anything else that you would do on a daily basis. All these risks are voluntary and you are fully aware of possibilities of loss or injury. As long as you are a guest of the main reservation holder, this confirms that all guests of our property are held accountable for any and all liabilities for property damage of your own personal property, AshKaNams personal property, loss or personal injury to yourself, personal items, or others around you that was caused by an individual as being a guest of AshKaNam and it to be no fault of AshKaNam Resort. AshKaNam Resort will not be liable for any personal damages or personal injury.
